Nestled at the foot of Breckenridge’s majestic Peak 9 and historic Main Street, our second home is affectionately referred to as the “Moose Condo” due to its family-friendly moose decor. The Moose Condo is conveniently located in the newly refurbished Village at Breckenridge lodge complex, and showcases fabulous views of Maggie Pond, the Blue River, historic downtown Breckenridge, and the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Our premier location is mere steps from Peak 9’s Quicksilver Lift, the Breckenridge Ski School, incredible restaurants, historic Main Street shops, performing arts center, bike trail (400 miles of paved bike trails!), and nearby municipal ice skating rink. When comparing our location to other Ski-In/Ski-Out condos in Breckenridge, few offer both the convenience of being close to the ski area and lifts, and a short walking distance to historic downtown Breckenridge. At the Moose Condo, bringing a car is truly optional.

Your vacation stay in the Moose Condo includes a fully equipped & updated kitchen. The Moose Condo features a remodeled granite and tile bathroom with vessel sink, new appliances and granite kitchen counter tops, a romantic wood-burning fireplace and rustic aspen log furniture.

Our condo includes a comfortable queen pull-out futon with $800 foam mattress in the living room, a custom Aspen log love seat, and king size mattress in the master bedroom. Our one bedroom also has an Aspen log single bunk bead, allowing accommodations for a family or group of 5 (2 in the king, 2 in the queen futon, and 1 in the single bunk). Also, at 840 square feet, the Moose Condo is large in comparison to other 1 bedroom Breck lodging.

A quiet night’s rest… Another unique benefit of the Moose Condo is the concrete construction for added noise abatement and quiet when you need it most. We have owned and stayed in other condos that are typical wood frame construction, and have had some difficult nights sleeping when condo neighbors took the festivities into the wee hours. The Moose Condo’s concrete ceiling and floors provide much better than average sound protection.

Your rental also includes unlimited access to The Village Health Club, located on-site and inside The Peak Nine Inn within The Village at Breckenridge lodge complex. Pool hours are 7 AM to 10 PM, and the work out facility is available from 6 AM to 11 AM. The Village Heath Club has four (4) outdoor hot tubs, a heated indoor/outdoor pool, aerobic and weight exercise room with treadmill and life-cycle aerobic equipment, large steam room, dry sauna, and locker room with showers.

If you need more than our health club, the fabulous Breckenridge Recreation Center is just a ten minute drive (or catch free shuttle) where for a small fee, you can enjoy wall climbing, basketball, racquetball, tennis, weight rooms, exercise machines, indoor running track, large lap pool for adults and large wading pool for children, etc.


Parking is extremely limited in Breckenridge, and at the Village location, we cannot guarantee on-site parking. If on-site garage parking is available, the ADDITIONAL FEE will be $23 per night, billed separately. If on-site parking IS NOT available at the time of booking, we will send you all nearby off-site parking options prior to accepting your booking.

The 25% first payment made more than 30 days prior to your arrival date, or 100% full payment made within 30 days of your arrival date are both non-refundable. If your second payment of 75% has been made more than 30 days prior to arrival, that second payment of 75% is refundable if the reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival.

Our PAYMENT POLICY is as follows:

1st payment of 25% of total due is required to confirm your reservation. This 1st payment is applied to your total due, and is NOT refundable.

The 2nd payment for the remaining balance (75%) is due at least 30 days prior to arrival date, and refundable ONLY IF cancellation occurs MORE than 30 days prior to arrival. No refund is provided for cancellations made 30 days or less before arrival.

If a reservation is booked less than 30 days prior to arrival, a 100% full payment is required, which is non-refundable.

Perfect location and great home!

We booked last minute in off season and the owner was somehow able to get everything ready. Home had everything we needed to cook which was a wonderful surprise. I have been to many vrbo places that have limited cooking items. Bed was very comfortable and well decorated. The location is amazing for ski season. We will be back!

The condo was clean and updated, the kitchen contained everything we could need, and there were plenty of blankets, pillows, etc. The condo is close to the elevator and the laundry room, both of which came in very handy, and the building itself is right next to the ski school and Peak 9. We didn't need our car at all. We couldn't have asked for a better spot, and will definitely be back!

Best location

Location, location, location! If you ski at Peak 9 then you can’t beat this location. Plus you can walk everywhere and leave your car in the garage. The condo itself was very comfy and cozy. We will use it again.

Clean fully equipped with great location

Had a great October getaway at Moose Condo. Moose Condo has a great location, parking, and is very clean. It also has a comfortable bed. On the day we left our RF pass would not open the parking garage door. A call to Twilla fixed it and wallah we were on our way with hardly any delay. So great service too. We plan to return next year.

Moose Condo review

Moose Condo is conveniently located and quite comfortable. The owners are easily accessible and very attentive. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, appliances and dishes and very organized. Everything we needed to cook was available. Plenty of firewood on the balcony for our toasty fires. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Place!

What a great condo! The Moose is so cute, comfortable and well stocked. It is hard to leave the place. It is in the perfect location making it easy to walk everywhere. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking and the cabinets are well organized, making it easy to find things. The bed is comfortable with nice linens. The entire place is very clean, thoughtfully decorated, safe and has beautiful views of the mountains and Village. We look forward to staying here again.

In the heart of Breckenridge

Enjoyed our stay. Was a few issues but owner was available to correct them quick enough. Place was in a great area and unit was clean. Could use a few things updated. Mattress felt like you were being forced to center of the bed. Bathroom needed a hair dryer and the shower head is to high for shorter people to adjust. Overall for the money its a nice place. Don't want to pick to much as no place we have ever rented in our 15 years staying in Colorado has been perfect. I would stay here again

Nice, clean, and cozy! Excellent location!

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay at the Moose condo very much. It was almost like being home away from home! Kids went swimming, I did some shopping, and the best part, we enjoyed the mountains! Beautiful views from the condo. Just a reminder, it is a mountain town, nobody has air-conditioning! The owners were very helpful with any questions we had, even when it was midnight! Great place to stay!

Amazing location!

We had a great stay at "The Moose Condo"! The condo had all that we needed including a grocery store in easy walking distance. Loved the fireplace and view! Peak 9 is only steps away so it was easy for the kids to handle their ski equipment. Our first trip to Breckenridge and first time for our kids to ski was a success in large part to the wonderful stay at this condo!

Good condo in fantastic location

Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moose Condo. It had plenty of space for us and the kitchen was great. The best part was definitely the location. The building is just a few hundred feet from the lift and right next to ski school. It's also a very short walk from the main street area. Our only criticism is that the main bed was not very comfortable.
